Farscape "Peacekeeper Wars" DVD was released yesterday
here in the UK.

I'm off to watch the 2nd disc and all the extras

It's kind of interesting, I started watching farscape when it first came out, and unfortunatley lost track of the series when my schedule got fuller. About a year ago I found the season one volume one dvd for 5.00 us at a local shop. Within a week I had hunted down the entire first series and am now waiting for volume 4 and the peacekeeper wars to come in the post. I was able to catch the peacekeeper wars when it was on the telly, but I have not seen much of the fourth season and am looking forward to it. There are very few shows that affect me this way. I also find it fascinating that every season (2,3 and obviously 4) has played like the final season of a show, not so much as closure show's going to end type stuff, but the amazing fanatical and fantastic topics and revelations that are normally only seen in a show's final season. There's something to be said for that. I hope there will be more farscape projects in future, maybe spinoffs maybe even a movie or so. Even if a movie was only domestically released in say Australia, I know it would get to to the states on a dvd release if nothing else.
